TERMS AND CONDITIONS

XL Bullies

  • The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is provided to Lincoln Dog Fields prior to booking.
  • A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is provided to Lincoln Dog Fields prior to booking.
  • The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at ALL times.
  • The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules.
  • The dog is Micro Chipped.
  • The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field.
  • The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field.
  • You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field.
  • You must park in the car park of the field booked.
  • If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs
  • If there is more than 1 banned breed in the household they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.
  • Handlers of the banned breed must be a minimum of 16 years old
  • If there are dogs from different
    households and they are a banned breed they need to be kept on lead and muzzled
  • The lead and muzzle can be removed if they are the only dog or with other dogs from the same household.

Number of dogs allowed per session

The Lincoln Dog Fields have a maximum limit of 6 dogs per session. Failure to comply with this limit will result in being asked to leave the field without a refund or the option to reschedule your booking. If this occurs repeatedly, you will be prohibited from using any of our fields in the future.

 

Bookings

  • Each session lasts 55 minutes, providing a 5-minute buffer period to ensure customers can avoid contact with one another. This buffer period is particularly important for reactive dogs using the field.
  • It is important to note that arriving late or delayed does not entitle you to exceed the allocated 5-minute buffer period.
  • If Lincoln Dog Fields observes that you are not vacating the field on time, we reserve the right to revoke access to the fields and prohibit your future usage.
  • In the event that the previous appointment is still occupying the field when your booking is scheduled to begin, please promptly inform us at 01522 704 922.

 

Opening Hours

Currently, both of our fields are open during daylight hours. To check our availability, please utilise our booking system. It is strictly prohibited to use our fields outside of the designated hours. Should any unauthorized usage occur, we reserve the right to involve the police in case of trespassing.

 

  • Upon arrival at the field, it is necessary to remain in your car until the previous person has left the field.
  • Before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle, you must enter the field and securely close the gate to ensure their safety.
  • Booking the field does not grant any rights or ownership to our clients. Lincoln Dog Fields retains full control and ownership of the fields at all times.

 

Your dog’s health

  • Please refrain from bringing your dog to the fields if they have been unwell within the last 48 hours. This precaution is essential to protect the well-being of your dog(s) and others using the field afterward.
  • If your dog becomes unwell while in the field, it is your responsibility to clean up any mess and ensure that the field is left clean for the next user. If you encounter a situation where you are unable to clean up, please contact Lincoln Dog Fields immediately at 01522 704922 so that appropriate action can be taken.
  • Under no circumstances should you visit Lincoln Dog Fields if your dog has exhibited signs of Kennel Cough, Sickness, or Diarrhea within the past 72 hours.
  • It is mandatory for your dog(s) to be microchipped, as per The Microchipping of Dogs (England) Regulations 2016.
  • All dogs using the field must be up to date with their flea and worming treatments as well as their vaccinations.

 

 

General Safety Awareness

  • Please be aware that the ground in both fields may be uneven in certain areas. The use of the fields is entirely at the customers’ own risk. Lincoln Dog Fields will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or fatalities. We also do not accept responsibility for any losses, claims, or damages.
  • You agree not to allow anyone other than your friends or family members, who have accompanied you for the purpose of walking your dogs, to enter the field.
  • If you bring friends or family members or send someone on your behalf, you assume full responsibility for their safety and ensuring their compliance with these terms and conditions while using the field.
  • Any use of our agility equipment is entirely at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for the well-being of your children and dogs at all times.
  • Users must immediately report any accidents, incidents, or injuries by contacting us at info@lincolndogfields.co.uk or by calling 01522 704 922.
  • Both fields are located on a working farm. Please be mindful of nearby farm machinery. There is also a self-storage site in the vicinity, so please exercise caution regarding other vehicles nearby.

 

Children Safety 

  • Children are welcome to accompany you, but they must be supervised at all times.
  • Please note that the field has not been specifically designed to ensure child safety. The ground may be uneven in certain areas, and we advise against allowing children to play with any of the dog agility equipment.

 

Fencing

  • While Lincoln Dog Fields conducts regular inspections and maintenance of the fence, it is possible for holes or other damage to occur due to various factors such as dogs or other animals digging or general wear and tear.   • Lincoln Dog Fields strives to provide a safe environment where you can confidently unleash your dog(s) without concerns about recall or the presence of other dogs. However, unless there is negligence on our part, Lincoln Dog Fields cannot be held responsible for your dog(s) escaping or leaving the field, or any encounters with other dogs. We do not accept liability for dogs escaping, or any damage, injury, or fatality resulting from a dog escaping the field or encountering other dogs. It is crucial that you act as a responsible dog owner at all times while using the field.
  • Both fields are enclosed by a 6ft high fence. Lincoln Dog Fields will not be held responsible if your dog(s) breach these boundaries. It is solely the owner’s responsibility to prevent their dog(s) from escaping.

 

Parking & valuables

  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Lincoln Dog Fields cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage, or loss incurred to vehicles or their contents, including valuables.
  • Please ensure that you only park on the hardstanding within the field gate. Parking or driving on the grass is not permitted under any circumstances.
  • A maximum of 2 cars are allowed per visit.
  • Please do not arrive on-site before your allocated time.
  • Kindly be considerate of other users of our car park area and refrain from blocking any other vehicles at any time.

 

Bookings:

  • All bookings must be made through our online booking system and require advance payment.
  • You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the original session.
  • Please note that bookings cancelled within 24 hours will not be eligible for a refund.
  • In the event of an emergency, Lincoln Dog Fields reserves the right to cancel your booking and provide you with a full refund. 

 

Maintenance

  • It is your responsibility to clean up after your dog. Lincoln Dog Fields provides biodegradable poo bags and bins for your convenience, which are located by the entrance of the field. Spot checks are conducted, and failure to pick up after your dog may result in being asked to leave. Repeat offenders may be refused access to the fields in the future. Please only dispose of dog waste and dog waste bags in the bins. Items such as latex gloves, chewing gum, cigarettes, food, etc., should not be put in the dog bins.
  • Dogs should be discouraged from digging holes as it can create hazards for others using the field.
  • If your dog digs a hole, please report it directly to Lincoln Dog Fields, and we will come out to refill it. You can contact us via email at info@lincolndogfields.co.uk or call us on 01522 704922.
  • A water tap is provided for dogs to use. Please remember to switch off the tap after use.
  • Ensure that no litter or toys are left in the fields or the shelter. Do not drop litter, leave toys, or uneaten treats behind, as they can be harmful if ingested by dogs. Please take everything home with you at the end of your session to maintain a clean environment for all users.
  • Lincoln Dog Fields does not take responsibility for any illness or fatality that may occur due to ingestion or encounters within the fields. We also do not accept liability for any costs, expenses, or other liabilities incurred by you during the use of the fields.
  • Smoking is not permitted on-site.
  • Your booking is solely for the purpose of dog exercise. BBQs and alcohol are not allowed in the fields.
  • Operating or releasing any high-flying objects, including drones, is not permitted in the field.
  • Please ensure that you abide by the local bylaws. You can refer to the relevant local authority website for more information.

 

Indemnity

  • As a customer of Lincoln Dog Fields, you acknowledge and agree to indemnify Lincoln Dog Fields against any losses, claims, actions, damages, etc. that may arise from your use of the field and the behavior of your dog, both within and outside of the field.
  • Please note that Lincoln Dog Fields may need to update these Terms and Conditions periodically. We recommend checking our website regularly at www.lincolndogfields.co.uk for any updates.
  • By making a booking, you confirm your agreement to adhere to the Terms and Conditions stated on the website at the time of your booking.
  • Lincoln Dog Fields reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions between the time of booking and your scheduled time slot. If such changes occur, we will contact you and provide the updated Terms and Conditions. You have the right to cancel your booking after reviewing the revised Terms and Conditions.   • In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions, the version displayed on the Lincoln Dog Fields website takes precedence. Any updates to the terms and conditions can only be made in writing and not verbally or in person.

  • In order to facilitate your bookings, Lincoln Dog Fields requires certain personal data from you. The data collected includes your First Name, Last Name, Contact Number, Postal Address, and Email Address. This information is necessary for Lincoln Dog Fields to provide its services to customers, communicate with you in case of emergencies or changes to your booking, and maintain records related to the use of the fields.
