What are your opening hours?
Our fields are currently open 7 days a week. In summer months we open from 6am to 9pm. From October to March, we open from 7am – 8pm.
How many dogs can I bring?
We allow a maximum of 6 dogs per session. Please note we charge a little extra for the 5th and 6th dog.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the original session. Please note that bookings cancelled within 24 hours will not be eligible for a refund.
Can I amend my booking?
Yes, all bookings can be amended up to 24 hours before the original session.
Are the fields secure?
Yes, the fields are designed to provide a secure environment for you and your dogs. Each field is enclosed with a 6-foot high fence. In addition, we have also installed an underground fence for extra safety. This will prevent dogs from escaping and ensure they can run and play safely in the designated area.. Furthermore, to enhance security measures, there are CCTV cameras installed on-site. These cameras help monitor the fields and provide additional surveillance to ensure the safety of visitors and their dogs.
What happens when the weather is bad?
There are provisions in place to ensure a comfortable experience for both you and your dog(s). Each field is equipped with a shelter located near the entrance. This shelter allows you to take cover while still allowing your dog to run freely and enjoy the space.
It’s important to note that Lincoln Dog Fields does not offer refunds due to weather conditions. Therefore, it is advisable to plan ahead and consider the forecast before booking your session. If you are concerned about the weather conditions, you have the option to cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled session. This way, you can choose a more suitable day with better weather for your visit to the fields.

What footwear should I bring?
It is essential to wear appropriate footwear, particularly during the winter months when the area can become wet and muddy. To ensure a pleasant experience for both you and your dog(s), we kindly request that you choose footwear suitable for these conditions.
What do I do with dog poo?
We provide biodegrable dog poo bags and bins. These can be found in the car park.
Is there lighting in the fields?
Motion sensor lighting is installed in the shelters and car park. However, there is no lighting in the fields.
Do you provide water?
Each field is equipped with a water bowl by the shelter. This allows visitors to access water for their dogs and keep them hydrated during their time at the fields.
Is parking available?
Yes. Please ensure that you park your vehicle only on the designated hardstanding area within the field gate. Parking or driving on the grass is not permitted under any circumstances. Please note that there is a limit of two cars allowed per visit. This ensures that there is sufficient space for all visitors and prevents overcrowding of the parking area.
